Client requested custom supporting images for front cover of cereal box spread. providing color scheme & typography layout. Photographer was tasked with providing supporting product imagery.
Product imagery consists of two seperate main images taken at an overhead angle while utilizing natural light & diffuser. Image one consists of main cereal bowl with product contained within. Image two consists of cereal spoon with product contained within. Faux food techniques were utilized to raise and contain product on the surface of the "milk", allowing photographer to strategically and aesthetically place product.
Images were taken separately, imported into Photoshop where they were isolated, cropped, resized and then imported into front cover layout.
Client requested a custom Baking magazine spread cover. Designer was allowed full creative freedoms within the scope of "baked goods".
Product imagery consists of one main overhead image taken while utilizing natural light & diffuser. All elements were natural & composed fresh.
Image was then imported into Photoshop where it was, cropped, resized and then imported into front cover layout. Minor touch-up and post-processing was accomplished utilizing spot healing tool.
Typography and ISBN block were then added to composition to draw focus, compliment & support imagery.
Client requested a "proof" page for a custom Southern recipe book. Designer was allowed full creative freedoms within the scope of "southern recipes".
Product imagery consists of one side image taken while utilizing natural light & diffuser, picnic table patterning, and two silhouette vector images.
Images were imported & composed in InDesign. Fried chicken image was reduced to 50% opacity, and text was overlayed.
